I'm the guy who posted last night on the missing security system from my car which was delivered 3 days ago.
At Cris' request I called him today. I explained that I expected the Security Sys. because there wa a sticker on the windshield of the car that stated that the system was added by the dealer, not an option, and the salesman TOLD me that it came with the car.
As far as what a deal I got, when they accepted my check, they did it gladly. They then told me to have a seat while they installed the floormats in my car. One hour and 45 min.'s later they brought my car to the front of the dealership. Naturally suspicious I checked the car thouroughly and didn't notice the missing contracted items until I had time at home.
When I called Cris today as he requested , he tried to intimidate me, just as he tried to intimidate you readers. -Don't put up with it. Don't the hosts of this site realize what a mistake it is to put a car salesman in the position of moderator of a forum?
And Cris, HOW DARE YOU PUT MY FULL NAME ON THE INTERNET!
Also I just hope that thieves looking at my car and the stickers that the dealership put on both my windows that state "Immobilizer Anti-theft System" believe them.

 

Chris is not required to compensate for your ignorance in this situation or in any for that matter. If you knew what you were talking about you would be aware that the "Immobilizer Anti-Theft System" is indeed STANDARD EQUIPMENT on all S2000's. Yes, that means YOUR CAR has it. It is comprized of a chip in your key that the car requires in order to provide a spark, without it the car would not start. In other words, even if someone copied your key, they still can't start your car.

Instead of politely asking or doing a search about those stickers on your windows, you come here and insult Chris. That is why he sounded intimidating, because he was disrespected on a public forum in which he has made a name for himself as an S2000 salesman, as a result of your ignorance in regards to your new car.

 

Thanks, I suspected that was a Honda addition. Like I said, I hope that deters theives by itself. Now go wait on some suckers.

 

Suit yourself, but the S2000 is one of the least stolen vehicles in the country. In fact, virtually the only way to steal the car, is to flat bed it. My advice? Just go out and and stop worring about anything other then your oil level.

Hey look, we know you are PO'd. And why not come on to this board and releave some fustrations.. but you really gotta deal with this directly with Braman, and whomever sold you the car. We can't do much for you. If you did get such a good price.. then hey... deal with it. None of us know what was said and what happened when you purchased the car. You live you learn, and next time you'll know to analyze everything very carefully.

Just go out, drop the top and have fun! Be happy you got a great car!

 

Thanks cin, but its got something to do with being lied to and then threatened. If they had just admitted a mistake, I probably could have lived with it. But not now. This is my last post, I guess its going to go to another forum now.

 

Ron, A Immobilizer Anti-Theft System is standard on the car, not an alarm system. Mr. Sucre never told you that their was going to be an alarm installed in your car, nor myself. The small second sticker on every vehicle @ every dealership is what you can add to your car if you wish to, obviously you have to pay for the added equipment, like you did for the front and rear spoiler. Mr. Sucre and myself treated you with much respect and professionalism, and I was the one who told you about this web-site and what a wonderful web-site it was. Don't you think if I or Mr. Sucre will be doing something that was not right to you, that I will give you this site's address so that you can come here and bad mouth me? No that will not be smart, but the only thing that I and Mr. Sucre did was give you an excellent customer service, and give you respect. Mr. Sucre took a bit long to bring the car to you because he was making sure that everything was perfect! He went to fill up your gas tank and he himself put on the floormats for you out of courtesy. So Ron, you can't say that we did anything wrong!!! Probaly it was you that misunderstood everything, and thought you were getting everything when you only paid for your car and both spoilers. Ron, yes I did tell you to call me so that I can explain everything to you in the right and proper manner, but after trying and trying and after I told you how can you bad mouth me in the Board that I work so hard in and the board I introduce you too when all we did is give you an awesome customer service, you reply with "F" you this "F" you that ,and I can "F" do whatever I want at whatever "F" forum I want. Ron, how can this be? If your suppose to be an older man and a professional man? Than you hung up on me cause you did not want to hear me anymore! Why did you hang up? After, I called you back and told you that you don't disrespect me! By name calling me, an telling me "F" you this and "F" you that, I told you that If you are a man that you will speak to me like and man and with the same respect that I gave you, and you never said a word after that. Ron, yes this car salesperson does a really good job as a moderator, so if you don't like it? Their is always a door that leads you out. I have worked a year busting my ass in this web-site to earn some respect, so that someone like you can come here and bad mouth me for something that we never said and all we did was give you an excellent deal with excellent customer service, come on Ron! 1. I'm the other CO here and while I welcome your participation in our club, I will not tolerate personal attacks. If you have further problems with Chris or Braman Honda, I suggest you deal with them directly.

2. Its your mistake that you didn't throughly read the contract or went over any items.

3. Your full name on the internet? So what? My name is listed in this website and on my company's website? No biggie...

4. Immobilizer Anti-Theft System refers to your immobilizer device standard in all S2000's, not an active alarm system.

5. As far as Chris being a salesman manager at Braman Honda relates to his membership and participation in this forum and our local S2000 Club, you are wrong. One has nothing to do with the other. As the CO, Chris has worked hard and done a superb job thus far.
