Default Broken Windshield?

OK guys this is way off topic for this forum but i was driving home from work today in my Audi and there was one of those gravel moving Monster trucks a little ways up and some larger than normal rocks just happened to fall out and hit my windshield cracking it. Now my question is will my insurance replace the windshield isn't that a safety regulation of some sort........Z4K ring in at any time!!!
Thanks Guys

What insurance do you have? I just had mine replaced Monday! Just tell them there is a chip or crack on the drivers side about eye level. Because if it is something out of the drivers field of vision they will attempt a repair first. Make sure to request OEM Glass and Molding! The Molding is NOT REUSABLE!

i have geico. when i got a crack in my windshield. i just called & reported it, they did not ask me where it is. i told them i want an OEM windshield & a new seal. z4k is right seal is not reusable. they replaced it no problems at all. it could not have gone any easier. hope this helps.

I have mine scheduled for this Saturday, make sure to ask for OEM windshiled . it takes 3 more days but it's worth it.
