I currently have a G1 with T-Mobile, I love T-Mobile and their customer service but I have been having trouble with their hardware and signal in the past couple of months. I would really love for them to release a worthy phone with Android OS that does not choke as much as the G1. I'm praying that T-Mobile snatches the upcoming Sony Ericsson EXPERIA X3 -1GHZ snapdragon cpu- (Project Rachael) and offer it in the U.S. but I highly doubt it. Another reason why T-Mobile limits my options on keeping them is their weird 3g uplink of 1700 which almost no unlocked cellphone has.
Since the chances are slim and the options very few I have no option but to abandon ship and switch carrier. I'm considering Sprint for their Palm Pre or upcoming HTC Hero with Android but as everyone knows the iPhone (Jesus Phone) is at the top of the list also but I cannot digest AT&T (I really hate them, bad past experiences). Anyhow the only way I would consider switching to AT&T is if I can get an iPhone 3GS for free and pay the same I pay in T-Mobile for my everything loyalty unlimited plan ($100 including taxes and fees).
Verizon is great but no ANDROID phones available as far as I know.
Any experts in the mobile arena want to help with advice? Thanks.

u wont find a cheaper unlimited talkinging plan anywhere, i work for t-mo and i love their customer service as well. By the end of next month or so we should be getting a 3g blackberry which is what im holding out for. If you have any needs pm me
