I had an exhilarating experience this past weekend just before the Ford 400 NASCAR season-ending race. I was the alternate driver for one of the Ford F350s used in the "Flag Pull" during the National Anthem just before the race. I joined Alex Cisneros, Carl Couric and Victor Leo (all ER autocrossers) on a lap of Homestead pulling a large American flag behind one of the trucks. We made a tight formation of the three trucks and got to hear the huge crowd cheering, and see them waving as we passed the start/finish line. What a day!
