As for the friend that no one knows she could come by Fudds and meet us so she doesn't stay with the idea that Max is an idiot. He is a nice guy.

She was born in Cuba and had to deal with many ppl critisizing her about coming in a boat, when in fact she did not. So it kinda of touched a soft point there.... I understand it was meant as a joke but like I said before when you don't know someone you don't know what they have been through, so I personally don't understand it I am not cuban. But yea I agree the joking shouldn't have started in the first place so... the past is in the past now lets move on.

 

Im cuban born and raised, I came here in plane but at times I stop and think how different I would be if I was a rafter. The first thing she has to know is that none of this ignorant foks (the ones that really mean it) will ever understand the reasons why people have to do such things, also they don't understand the size of their balls to jump into the sea on a small boat or whatever they find to float. The sea at night its a nightmare and at the mercy of nature its not a fun thing to do. I have close friends and family that have done this and some have died, some have tried several times because the first times they had accidents where they were just swimming back to shore after being several miles out in the sea. All I tell them is that they wish they had the heart and the balls of this rafters. Tell her not to take it personally that Max doesn't mean it the way she took it. Just bring her one day and we can all discuss this, althought I will probably won't be there since I rarely make it but I know Warren will take good care of her.

every1 here is buddy buddy and each take sides which is fine with me . When you don't know some1 the dumbest thing is to joke about countries,religion,politics because some1 is bound 2 get mad or take it personal.

when u say veils reply was not personal cuz he does not know me, I don't see it that way specially when he replies right after my comment which I guess got to him a bit.

1 - It's not about being buddy buddy, it's about being tired of reading crap I don't feel like reading (and I'm speaking for many when I say this).

2 - VeilSide did not even know you were Cuban.....it couldn't be personal. (By the way, I'm Cuban and Max happens to be one of my best friends.)

3 - Let me tell you how I feel about all this joking......YOU SHOULD NOT JOKE ABOUT THINGS THAT ARE BEYOND PEOPLE'S CONTROL.....for example, one's height or where people were born. Plenty of people on these boards use the word "nigga".....why aren't you taking offense to that?

4 - In my opinion, they should have made jokes about you being on the boards here when you don't even own an S.....

By the way, Dan, sorry for this thread going to shit as well.......two thumbs up on helping Dario.....now that's what the S2ki crew has always really been about......
