Pfft....it was probably rigged.

^^^This is intended to be a joke

But seriously, now her sponsors will brag that she is all that and it will be on the news where there is never anything about Indy usually.

Sad really.

Sad? why? rigged? because a female won the INDY? Her team executed an excelent strategy of conserving fuel and it paid in the end. Did you even see the race? This is BIG for INDY fans, it will hopefuly propel it to the next level of interest, and take some ratings away from the good ol' boys of Nascar. Danica and her Team deserve the win. Thumbs up for the win.

It's good for the sport, brings attention etc + it's cool to see a chick win + driving @ 200 mph can make many "men" pee in their pants i believe

i don't like her, but that was a 100% legit win. shes not the best driver, but she beats half the guys. and this is good for the sport

Motorola might take out a new commercial. she made alpinestars take out women size racing suits.

nobody brags like pontiac! after every grandam win they make a new comercial. not kidding

Relax, it was a joke.

See where I put "But seriously" underneath it.... I edited the post so it is clearer. My apologies for the lack of clarity.

The part where I said its sad it takes a woman winning a race to bring publicity to the sport was serious. Its not a shot at her. Its just ridiculous that Nascar gets all the coverage and Indy doesn't.

I agree that Indy could use whatever exposure it can get and that hopefully it gets some more spotlight.
