i heard it works. i think this is what the dent guys used to do when this dent wizard thing first came out. they say the dent must be fresh. it won't work on a dent that is 1 year old. it also damages your paint somehow not visual maybe but weakens it somehow.

i tried it on a friend's car just after she got the dent and it didn't work

 

the car in the video must have been a saturn.
