I say we keep them really busy. We should show up with as many cars as possible and just keep turning around and coming back. They can't close a highway and they can't do anything to you for driving through if you're obeying the laws. So let's just frustrate the hell out of them....

Yes they still have that and they actually have a yellow light that flashes when it's in effect.
There are so many other good roads up that way. At WTD '07, the group I rode with as a +1 (NY Metro & Ohio) went through many, many kick-ass roads in NC. In fact, we didn't hit the dragon until late Saturday, and that was just so I could say I had the "Billman experience".
Like I said in the other thread...the dragon is a great oppertunity for pre dragon S2000 owers to really have fun in this car..deffintly a LIFE changing experience...but we live in miami...and a drive to NC is $$$ and a lot of driving to go all the way up there and be excited and only have it ruined by a closeure of 129 or even worse a ticket. I say think twice before commitment. And if ur thinking of a good get away that's a great place for site seeing and YES I do think there are some roads way more thrilling then the dragon..but the fun of the dragon is seeing so many S2000s on the same road riding together...like I said its a RISK and something to deffintly think about b4 commitment.
Goodluck to the ppl going. Have fun and try not to get into too much trouble.
