Well...

Many of us have run the dragon... but how many can claim to have run the "flaming dragon"...

Yep.. thats right.... on thursday night.. a motorcycle wiped out at the entrance to the dragon... splitting his tank open and igniting a forest fire...

The dragon was in flames... and we ran her!!! Suffice it to say.. it was a heck of an experience...

 

ok ok... i embellish a bit..

by the time the Sofla crew finished up w/ Hooters... it was embers... but I hear willie gee ran it and he could feel the heat in the car cabin...

I was a little worried about the soft top...

I always say i ran the dragon w/ my hair on fire.. but i didn't actually want it on fire fire...

 

That is living prove that Dragons do breath fire!!

And then driving for 17 hours to get back home.

Holy moly! Did you hit traffic on the way back?

 

Nope no traffic! We left at 7 and got home at 12:30! I would have to say that was a crazy drive. Next year definitely going to break it up!
