I'm registering on Friday, and I've got a few guys down here that are interested in going. Who is interested?

This is the link for the registration page. All the details on the event are there. I've driven the road a bunch of times, but have never been to the actual event. It's a must if you like driving your S.

Are you driving there or towing??

 

Of course not, driving up Thursday morning, driving back Sunday morning. You could tow if you want, I'm sure you'd be getting terrible mileage with your setup.

 

Let me check my schedule. I would love to help plan this and meet some of my Metro NYC guys there.

 

We're getting a cabin here soon, hopefully. I've already registered. It's a go. So far, I've had four other people say they're going.

 

The dates seem to not conflict with anything. I have some personal time to use so once that gets approved, I'm in!

Is the plan to do the drive in one shot? Maybe if we work out an itinerary it will encourage folks to join.

 

The plan is to leave as early as possible on Thursday (think around 4 AM) and get there by 6 PM. That should allow for traffic and pitstops. Depending on who's going, I will establish a meet-up point. We will be taking 95 up, because driving through and around Atlanta on that drive is ABSOLUTE HELL, unless someone with an E85 car is coming then we'd have to use the turnpike. All of this will be ironed out closer to the actual event, but these are the basics.

 

Great start. I personally hate long drives so I will most likely leave the night before to do half. Check into a hotel and meet back with you guys to do the second half.

I have family up there and i always go 95. I know there is e85 up until cocoa beach off 95 for sure.
