A few simple rules would be nice.
1.) If you're going to be in the left lane (formerly known as the "fast lane"), then my God, please do more than the speed limit & don't hold everyone else up.

this one is especially irritating! why people have to sit in the passing lane doing the speed limit (or less) is beyond me. they usually have a clueless look on their face when i pass them and flip the bird. i mean, aren't we taught during our driving lessons that the right lane is the cruising ;ane? i think the usa makes it way too easy for people to get and keep their licenses. maybe we should take on the german approach to driver licensing. i believe it takes around 3K and lots of testing before you are given the "privilege" of driving. certainly far more rigorous than a few questions and a lap around the drivers course!

Guess that's the downside to getting one.

I never thought of that! I keep quarters in a pouch in the cup holder and other change in the slot behind it! I'll start tossing my pennies up in the air at people who ride my ass when I'm already speeding or if there is traffic in front of me preventing me from going faster. Usually when people ride my ass I just let off the gas completely and coast down to 15 mph and then they just pass. Here in Largo people are notorious for cutting in front of you then slamming on the brakes to make a quick turn. Merging is another thing people around here don't know how to do right. If I am already on the highway going 65mph don't pull right next to me exactly matching my speed merging right in to me, either go faster or slower than me so you are either ahead of me or behind me not running me off the road or forcing me to slam on my brakes! Dorks are everywhere. . .beware!

Ive noticed people in Central FLorida are better drivers. Yesterday I went to Tampa and after I got on the 75 I was on the fast lane doing about 100 and anyone that would see me coming would move, I made it in 3.15 hours. ON the way back I was doing about 120 but that changed when getting close to Miami, man I had to be changing lanes like crazy. I would flash my lights etc... so people would notice me but nothing, they just wouldnt move. DAMN IDIOTS!
On the way back when I got on the palmetto south I spotted 2 S2000s one Suzuka Blue with a young guy driving it, top down, probably in his 20's. Then a Spa but couldnt get close enough to see the driver. Anyways, yes in S. Fla drivers are A$$HOLES!

I wouldn't say that all of them are a$$holes - just a higher proportion than in other parts of the state (or so it seems). I'd like to think that I don't fall under the "a-hole" category.
