S2k 2NV,
Did you buy the car from Jeff at Pompano Honda? I considered buying that one from him a while back, he seemed like a great guy. Car looked to be in real good shape in the pics he posted. Congrats on the purchase.
I also think what you are describing is pretty normal. The noise after letting off the accelerator is probably normal unless its REAL loud. As far as the shifting, the s2k really takes some getting used to or otherwise the 1st to 2nd shift can be kinda rough.
I'd be glad to drive the car for you and compare it to mine, as I think what you are saying is pretty normal. I had the same questions when I got my ap2. Where are you located? PM me and If your local I'll be glad to take a look and we can compare. Otherwise maybe at the fudruckers meet if you're going to go.
Eitheer way don't sweat it, the certified Honda Pre-Owned warranty is MUCH better than the Hondacare extended warranty. It gives you a true factory warranty for 100k miles that covers all powertrain components. You're tranny is covered unleses you abuse it. You just bought it so if anything was wrong from the previous owner they would still have to cover it b/c they certified it as a certified pre-owned vechile which means they are required to inspect all major components. Its a good warranty, you should have a bumper to bumper extension of 1 year as well so your in good shape all around.

Best bet is at one of the meets have the guys tested for you. I'll be more than glad to do so. Cya around and enjoy the car and don't worry to much about the noises cuz sometimes they don't let you breath. Like today I was about to put my top down but I parked and didn't, as I left a while later with the top unlocked I heard this weird noise and the car acting all weird, then I realized it was the stupid top unlocked.
