Traffic Sign Hacked To Display Vulgar Message

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Drivers in West Palm Beach may have been surprised by an obscene message on an electronic board Tuesday.



Someone hacked into a roadside sign along the North Dixie Highway reconstruction project in an apparent response to a message left by West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel.

In response to traffic problems from the construction, Frankel has used the message board to say: "I Am Mad Too!"

Whoever left the message locked the metal box holding the sign's keyboard, forcing road workers to shut the sign off altogether. It was shut down around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

I'd say the sign wasn't so much as a response to what WPB Mayor said, but more like F YOU B(USH).

 

I agree with those comments. Downtown WPB has been ripped up for the past 2-3 years. With multiple projects at one time. I don't take the S down there anymore because of all the potholes, rocks, and various other objects.

It seems Frankel in on our sides with trying to hurry it up. But you never know with politicians.
