The only thing honda might do IMO is come out with a lightweight package s2000, that might save 2-300 pounds at most, with perhaps some upgraded shocks and wheels. I seriouslly doubt that they will touch the engine in any way, much less go FI

I know that the sales for the car are slow, but why now???? just close out the model already....! All I know is that for 6K more that thing better bring a turbo in there.

Honda of Japan sent a few engineers to the states and they had an extra night.

Several club members ( I believe 10 of us ) - had dinner on south beach and met w/ them.

They asked our opinion on improvements.

Attending were ( correct me if i'm wrong guys )

S2000 lead engineer
S2000/NSX design test driver
S2k Interior Designer
S2k Exterior Designer

Twas a good 2 hours and they got an earful. ( They scribbled furiously)

They took pics of our mods and asked us why we thought they were necessary/important.

 

I vaguely remember you mentioning that before. Out of curiousity, whose cars where there and got photographed and what were the engineers feedback? If they said anything at all.

It would be really cool if they actually did come out with a special edition worthy of the title. Especially if some of the mods were backwards compatible (and worthwhile).

 

That night was awesome! We gave them a TON of feedback!
