So are you planning to do anything to strengthen the rear-end?

That's one of major reservations about this kit (aside from the price). You'll be making more torque at 3000rpm than a stock S does at 8000rpm. That can kill a stock differential.

Also, if your interested, I have a used ACT HD PP I'm willing to sell, only 4000 miles on it (mostly highway), with a certification letter from ACT stating its in perfect working order.

Dan,

rear end is staying stock, I am not too concerned about it. If it breaks, it breaks and I probably end up picking a new one from jeff @htguy and send it off to get it worked on. We'll see what happens.

Clutchwise as it is I probably pick up an ATS/Carbonetics dual plate. I wish HKS made a dual like I used to have in my MR2 Turbo, but they dont.

I appreciate the ACT offer but maaaany years ago I had problem where that company sold me a clutch that had a manufacturing problem and therefore had to remove the whole engine/tranny in order to change it and all they did was give me a new PP after a lot of going back and forth. I threw the new one they gave me in the trash and promessed I would never buy from them again while I could.
