We had some special guests at the Saturday Chin Motorsports HPDE event at Sebring. Brian Redmond (Sebring 12-hour winner and 3rd place Lemans finisher) was there with a Road & Track photographer to test a new Ford GT and not one, but two vintage Ford GT 40s. Here are some photos:

There were a couple of times that I was in front of the Ford GT ... but they were short times!


Here they all are. Note the spare tire in the Lemans car on the far end of the line. Also, there was a "trunk", meaning small aluminum box, on the right rear side of the car. Both were required by the rules.

And here is Brian Redmond settling in to the Ford GT. It was the first time he had seen one!

yea those cars were so nice and clean, I couldn't belive that the two old ones were all original they were really clean. when that thing came by me goin in to the harpin i was like wow that was awsome......super nice cars and good turn out as well.

Nice, the pic with Scott really puts the "40" into perspective. The top is lower than his belt line.
