Default Gears?

Well since I decided to keep my S when I get it back from the body shop I was thinkin i should make it a lil more fun to drive. i was considering a blower but i can't be bothered with the hassle of any supercharger (or turbo for that matter) as it's my daily driver. i'm mainly looking for more responsiveness than power. anyone have 4.44 or 4.57 gears in their S locally. kinda wanna see how it feels and compare cruising speeds and gas mileage.

my buddy has them on his car but he is supercharged so it kinda makes first gear just stupid. I forgot his id on here but i dont think you want to drive his cause like i said...supercharger with gears = wack first gear.

Come to think of it i think he said he did them about the same time he supercharged it. So im not too sure if there was a time he had just gears and no boost. I will ask.

i'm also considering a blower hehe. but that's least likely to happen. every car i've owned has had a boost gauge in it. i wanna stay away from positive pressure for a lil while.

I'm glad you are keeping the car. I don't know how the whine is with the newer ones but when I had the old 4.57's I couldn't stand the whine on the highway. I also blew a diff because of improper installation. Take it to a reputable place that knows s2000's well. You know where I'm talking about

Or for that matter, wait for a group buy hardtopguy sponsors that will install it for you if you can stand some downtime. We do a lot of work on s2000's but the diff install is one thing we don't like to do. To easy to mess up.
