The good news is that the seat locks work ....
The bad news is I have a nice big slash in my convertible top - again!. No visible damage to the car other than that - maybe the alarm scared them off. The police are outside filling out the usual paperwork ... this is getting old!!! Well, at least Allstate should be happy I still have my $6,800 seats (untouched).
Anyone know of a good tape/sealer for the top until a new top comes in to a dealer? I always drive with the top down, but I need something for when it's parked or raining. I'll start searching s2ki.com

Damn, Chris! That sucks big time! I saw the title of the thread & knew this wasn't going to be good.
I'm going to have to agree w/ Keith on this one.....a garage looks like what you need to get this to stop happening. Of course, that's easier said than done.
Hey - look at the bright side. You still have your seats & they weren't touched!
Does your parking lot have any sort of security cameras? Maybe they caught something that can help the cops out.

Hopefully this will be your last instance... most likely .. they were shopping from last time.. 'knowing' a good place to find seats...
Now that they've run into your locks.. they probably won't hit you again...
Since you have had two instances.. you might consider getting one of those stickers.. 'protected by seat locks'.. then again... we are assuming the capacity to read...

Yeah, I'm going to find the guy who makes the stickers. I might put my Clifford G5 stickers up as well. Best case scenario - I might have a new top by the end of day this Wednesday. Bill @ Rick Case is trying to hook me up with a top by then (and check into the "upgrade" price to a glass '02-'03 top). Not sure I want to pay extra for that though, if this keeps happening.
