Car is most likely total'd - Lost control taking a turn on a road with some dirt.. spun in 360's, hopped a curb, the rest is history......

Waiting for insurance guy to come out... This after just dropping 6k on the car... life sucks

I'm curious though, never have dealt with a total'd car before - I want to sell the Hard top seperately but the car has no soft top... will insurance say something? how does that work.. it's state farm so they add value to what you have on there but figured I'd ask.. I'd liek to keep it or sell it if I don't decide to get another S....

I also have 04+ headlights with complete assembly if anbyody wants to come give me cash and their older ones before the adjuster ocmes look at the car...

the insurance company will just want the car complete, so as long as you have a replacement part for it then you can remove it

yea man it's shit.... =( ill probably like 350+ old headlights for the 04's but it has to be soon cuz the adjuster is coming out sometime ill wait to see what the adjuster says... but basically, wish i had a camera...

entire rear left rim is liek sideway, axel broke off... lotsa underbody dmg near the door, front bumper needs a repait from scuffs, quarter panels repaint + minor body work - i jus think its enuff dmg everywhere that will total it....

all my rims/tires were blown out and bent...

sounds like they may fix it, doesn't sound like $10k worth of damage

 

man, that actually doesn't sound too bad. i have seen worse than your description of it get fixed and not totalled. if they do total it, and there is no frame damage, i would just buy it back.

thats not even considering any other damage underneath the car - exhaust got hit pretty good too, dunno status of differential or nething
