Just laid off and given severance package = road trip!

Been raining for my visit so far, but today was gorgeous and in the 70s. The Comptech intake sounds just about perfect in the tunnels on the parkway.

Driving in and out of clouds.

Just got done with another 2 hr. evening drive - temps in the 60s and so many stars! Thanks guys - I'm looking for web work. I have an offer from a large company in downtown Miami to be their webmaster, and I have one more week to decide on it. Not sure about that P.Pines to downtown Miami commute though Coming back north after 6:30PM isn't so bad, but the mornings ... hopefully I-95 isn't quite so bad just after 9AM.

 

After 9:00am 95 is hit or miss. Most day I can make it in less than 30 from stirling to downtown, some days it sucks... i don;t do it every day though

nice shots, I was just up there there in may, stayed at the Pisgah Inn (highly recommend it) the S loves the blue ridge, if yours still there take a dusk drive along the parkway with your lights on hihg and see how many animals you can see
