so i have an 04 yellow ap2. i have megan racing exhaust and i want header, what kind should i get? megan racing only makes headers for the ap1, most headers are for the ap1 only. and im looking into getting a new intake too. i just have a gutted out oem box with a k&n filter

 

The megan header does fit ap2s as salchicha had it on his rio. I'm pretty sure all the aftermarket ap1 exhaust manifolds fit actually.

 

I wouldn't go with anything but the J's, unless you can get your hands on a hytech.

 

oh rlly? im kinda scared though because on the megan racing website, it says for ap1 only but some guy PMed me saying he has an invidia for 400 and its for an ap2

 

you get what you pay for! I saw really nice numbers with the J's. all the headers fit every year

 

Check out the na forum for more info. Supposedly the private label header and fast forward header are making good numbers and they don't cost nearly as much as all that jdm shit. Honestly I would put that money towards something like boost or gears. You could spend thousands on bolt ons and not even pick up 20 hp.

 

like I said you get what you pay for, My car gain 15hp midrange with the header. but what do I know.

^^Boost, juice, or gears.

Or you could get a header and intake and a vafc and tune it. But after all that you probably are gunna wish you picked one of the three above.
