HELP! My buddy lost his key for a lug nut...

Default HELP! My buddy lost his key for a lug nut...

Like I said, my buddy lost the key for the lug nut on his rims. Any ideas on how to take off the lug nut with out having the key?

dude, Tire kingdom usually has a tool for that. It happened to me once and the have a socket for that

you could bang in sockets slightly smaller than the lug.
might not be able to use them again but atleast their off

i have used the technique before..
If you have access to lug you can also try a pair of vice grips..

Back in the day when we use to boost cars and they had wheel locks on we would take them to Juan's Automotive (where I use to live) and he had this tool that could take any wheel lock off.

There are sockets floating around that wil do the trick (and yes Tire Kingdom does have them), or worse case scenario you can force it off by banging a socket onto it.

There are a lot of different ways you can do it, but most will render the locks useless.
