Hotel Help???
Guys, hope you don't mind me posting in your forum, but I was wondering if anyone could help me out by throwing some hotel recommendations my way. I'm in the midst of planning my honeymoon (from Chicago), and me and my finacee are going to be heading down to FL. We're gonna drive, she has a wrangler so we're gonna go top down (don't want all them miles and nicks on my baby). I think we're gonna make stops near clearwater, Sarasota, Key West, Miami, Daytona. Anyways, we're looking to make like 5 stops, down the Gulf side, up the Atlantic side. Any other spots we should consider or hotel advice in these areas? I've got recommendations for South Beach hotels...Loews, Palms Hotel, Delano, National Hotel. I'm looking to keep it pretty close to $200/night. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!!!

Congrats... I suggest the Loews, hands down, in South Beach. I've stayed there myself several times, and its definitely one of the best hotels in Miami.

Congrads on the marriage! Like they say, marriage is an institution and love is blind, so welcome to the instution for the blind! Oh, yeah, I got another one...Marriage is a 3 ring circus, engagement ring, wedding ring, suffer-ing
Loews is always a safe bet. You may want to check out hotwire.com and look for more of a local south beach hotel. Prime area is around 11-16 street. Your right in the middle of the action. Hey the beach is topless, so always wear sunglasses! You don't want the new wifey getting jealous!

guys, thanks for the tips, got any more? Pilot house looks very interesting. I'll remember not to speed down in the keys, but I'll be in a wrangler, probably not going to be hard...

PK Heres something to consider... the last two weekends in October get kind kind of crazy in Key West.....thats fantasyfest time....makes mardi gras look like a baptist church social.
It's a really good time.
thought you should know that.
