Smile I got a ticket.

I was on Military Trail in Boca just before TownCenter. I didn't know it was only a 40 there and I was crusing at 61 try to make a first date at the Starbucks close by. Freakin' stationary cop pulls out and snags me. I was so tempted to flip off the lights and jet because I was going around a bend, he was so far behind before he pulled out, and I was right next to a winding neighborhood. But, I thought it probably wasn't a good idea and just pulled over. Bad idea. $208 ticket. Going to the ticket clinich with this one for $80 and seeing if they can do anything about it. Ends up the girl is one of those models that just looks weird and not cute. Overall bad night...

Bad idea.
As opposed to running from the cop, eventually getting caught and spending an indefinite amount of time in the pokey. Yeah I think pulling over was the right idea.

You gotta be careful in the City of Boca. Boca cops have nothing better to do than write tickets since the city is quiet.

Just use a ticket attorney and you will probably get out of it. Aside from having nothing better to do the Boca police are very procedurally inept, so the ticket attorney can usually take care of it.

Thanks for the advice Keith. I think there's a ticket clinic close by that my brother used. I'll see what they say.

Running...BAD idea. You did the right thing, now follow the better road. Hire legal representation and deal with it. A night in jail with "bozo the clown" would have cost you more !

Good luck.

I was kidding about running by the way. I must admit though I have done it once before and succeeded, but I only decided to do it because he was so far behind before he started pursuing. I do not want to be Bubba's friend, trust me...

they always wait at 1/2 mile south of military and palmetto intersection. be careful espacially after 10:00 pm.

They also wait right across Boca Center inside Nipper's parking lot. They hang out there 3-4 cars. Be careful when you are passing by...
