I'm such a tattletale!
okay, well the other day I was at my cousins house and he had some friends over... we were talking and these two kids (which my cousins' barely friends with) start asking me questions about my car... they were being very VERY inquisitive. and then they asked my boyfriend (when i wasn't in the room) where I lived... when my boyfriend commented this to me, i called up my cousin and asked him to find out where they live and what cars they drive... so a few days later, he calls me up and asks me if someone had stolen my seats.. (i live in an apartment complex in Brickell, and security is really good here, but of course i ran downstairs to the garage to check out my car. luckily it wasn't mine) but my cousin tells me that his "friends" came over with a set of red S2K seats in their car... so i called up my friend whom is a detective for Metro-Dade and we went to their house... he confronted them.. to make a long story short, they confessed and we returned the seats to the owner (it was an older guy that lives in Palmetto Bay).
the kids parents had to pay the guy for a new top and a broken center console and a for a new paint job... the kids were also taken down to the Palmetto Bay police station to get their finger prints taken and other info..
after all of this, the guy didn't want to press charges... it made me soo mad!!!
but atleast now there's two less thieves out there!!!

Maybe he felt sorry, and as long as he got his damages paid for he felt it was enough. Unlike us that we are aware of this crap happening all the time and want to beat the fockers to a bloody gulp the guy is not. The kids got lucky it was not one of us hungry for blood.

Honestly, how many people after having their car damaged like that would feel "sorry" for the kids who got caught? I don't think many. My bet is this guy somehow was involved and didn't press charges because he knew his name would be linked to this....
