Default INTAKE QUESTION

I have "searched" on the forums for about 2 days now (the more I use this search function, the more I feel it is useless and unhelpful...cluttered with nonsense). So please, let me ask some locals, since weather is a factor in my choice. I am looking for an intake that will give the most PEAK power but isn't so low to the ground as to cause hydrolock. Which intake do you all use? Which do you NOT recommend, or is worthless? Please help, thanks again.

Any intake with forced induction will give you noticeable gains, other than that the gains are minimal. Many of the RAM style, short and in the engine bay, demonstrate HP losses on the dyno. The Miami guys resist the Cold Air Intakes because of the rain and puddles. Your best bet might be a snorkel style similiar to the Mugen.

try google on your next search, it's better than the S2Ki search.

i have the J's and i havent had any issues with hydrolock, plus the snorkle sits on the top tier of the grill , so it sits pretty high from the ground.

i would suggest that you stay away form the oem cold air or any cold air intake for that matter... too much water in miami to risk any damage

I have the K&N Short Ram..

i feel the difference and it sounds great
