For a long time I

 

Google! After 3 months of lurking I became a member and a few months later an S2000 owner. My first meet was thanks to RubyRashel who conviebced me to how up to the meets in Bahama Breeze up in Broward. Today I don't own an S2000 but this site is the best and its people are outstanding. Love it here.

 

During my quest to purchase an S2000.. I found the site and lurked around...

I joined a few days after getting the car.. and became a member not log after that...

i bought the car in may 06' because i've always wanted it since my friend got one in 1999, that and it was either a tricked out mini s, 350z, pos rx-8 or w/e. Already knew about the s2ki message board, went to fudds in october 06' and met a bunch of fags, which i regret everyday of meeting.

 

I was followed and harrassed on Kendall Drive one day by this member then called BruteHare..... j/k.

I met Dariel (now known as Diablo99V) on Kendall Drive about 3 1/2 years ago and we pulled into the Wendy's parking lot. He gave me the info about the site and the rest is history....

 

Saw Warren and another Suzuka at an Evolution event, started lurking every now & then.

Never thought I'd be able to get one so I stopped coming on here.
Then a couple years later my EXT falls victim to a couple hurricanes, and Largo Honda came down to KW selling some cars.

Happened to come across a yellow S2000 sitting in the middle of the lot, and I wasn't interested in the only other S2000 they brought down (not to mention it was $7000 more) so as I walked around the yellow S, salesman comes out of nowhere with the key saying "Let's go for a drive"

Took it for a spin.
Brought my dad back the next night, he took it for a drive.
Papers were signed and I was smiling ear to ear for a couple days never thinking I would own one.

About a week later I got my first ticket (thanks for not switching the plates Largo).
Scored my friends hood & wheels from his flooded S2000.
Then registered on S2Ki and found my first meet

 

Wil, I remember that day!

Darial aka Diablo 99v, pulled up along side of me nearing 152nd ST and 112th ave. I THINK I saw a website on his license plate holder. Voila....

Met some of the kindest, and had some of the most exciting times of my life with a few of the bunch.

Always wanting my car to rev to 9k , i decided to go back to my original plan after destroying my G35...2 weeks after driving the S I was awaiting at a light and I see some harmless white guy about to make a left at my intersection by Goleman High...IT was ELgringoLoco he waved at me like a queer little boy and I waved BACK then he slowed down in the middle of the turn and yelled "HEY do you know ABOUT S2kI" and here we are today.... lol

Google here also, I joined S2KI.com and My350Z.com at the same time during my search for a new car. Decided on a Daytona Blue 350Z Enthusiast model, test drove and got to signing papers, we were treated like shit and left. Drove an S2000, fell in love, saved up for 6 more months than the 28k Z and got one.

When I joined S2KI, there was no South Florida forum, only the main Florida S2000 owner forum so we lobbied for one and got it. 5 years and 2.5 S2000's later (if you count the M) and I'm still around so there must be some fun in this whole S2000 deal.
