Default JDM_AP2 Go Big or Go Home. ™

Okay so i have never really done a build thread before. So i figured i might as well track the progress of Essie, as i plan on keeping this car forever even when i go NSX hunting next year. To start this off this isn't my first rodeo. I was first introduced to the S2000 back in 2002/2003 when i did a photo shoot for Leo's red ap1. that day i told Leo i would own one someday (I was 16 at the time). This is now my 4th S2000 and no matter what car i buy after leaving the s2k community i always seem to find my way back.

In October of last year i sold my 2005 LS430 because I had the all familiar itch to get behind the wheel of another S2000 so i sold the Lexus and went hunting... initially i was searching for a GPW but after weeks of searching i couldn't find one in the condition or mileage i was hoping for. Deep down i wanted NFR GPW or BB while surfing the net (autotrader) i found a mint one owner 06 BB with a low 29k miles. That same day i went and bought it.

So November was the month it all began again. I will continue to post up parts as i order/receive/install them.

Before i proceed i want to thank a handful of people for all their support advice and at many times just an open ear for all my crazy thoughts and ideas for how i want this car to evolve.

Thanks gentlemen without you guys this would'nt be as fun

But most of all my g/f for being supportive and putting up with my spending habits without her i would have a half-ass build.

::WARNING:: All pictures were taken with my Iphone. Lol.. please excuse the quality.

The day/night i took her home (it was a long afternoon signing papers)

I kept it stock for awhile but one thing that bugged me was a little fading on the headlights... soo over to big bros house i went to have him remedy that with his buffer.

Before i had even sold the Lexus i was called by an acquaintance that he had found a RARE set of NSX Spec Work RSZR's so i had to jump on them ASAP!! they were beat up but i had planned to refinish them before slapping some rubber on them.

Then Christmas came along and i had no money for myself since i had a lot of bills and my g/f's present. She surprised me with a couple presents of her own.

Muteki SR48 Burning Blue Lugnuts

Grafxb Galaxy ShiftKnobs a daily and a show piece

Wheels finally came in so yet again went to leo's to test fit

Then i bought a nuespeed dual (i love this exhaust but hopefully b4 simply clean i will source a asm 70 ti)

Hit josh up and bought a set of advan AO32's

I owned an airwalker wing on one of my previous s2000's this time i went with something a little more subtle. Tamon design FRP

Then one day i was surfing Florida FS and of course Mike had his project MU's up for sale and i just had to have them. (thanks mike).

So after much discussion with the guys i decided on my hardtop itsstill in production and it will be a couple more months before they fnish it ( all made to order by hand).

Challenge 4x4 V Weave hardtop. I opted for no rear window as i am going to the dealer and purchasing an oem rear glass!

High quality parts everywhere. Awesome Thread, can't wait to see how things develop and enjoy the camaraderie and eventually competition with another like-minded individual.
