Just a word of caution though on the Philips factory refurbs:

They only give you 90 days warranty, and no extended avaialable. This kept my buddy back from buying one.

 

Good point, My current TV is a Philips Ref. and its being excellent for the past 2 years. I took the chance but I was able to do so at the moment.
