yesterday at the meet we were noticing that whole parking lot has alot of trees and it drops like little acorns on the cars -_-. also THE COPS showed up and said we could not be there. no one was reving or making a racket or burning out or anything. it was like 12 cars. he said we cant be there. and we asked why not and we said this is not Hialeah or sweet water .( apparently he does not know what comes out of Miami lakes high ). he said we cant be there unless we are spending money . and we tried talking to him and he said if we don't leave he will call his friends and have fun with us . with all these low cars and ext. so i told him we are going to all go eat . so he left. i don't want this to be a problem in the future . i think we should move the meet to a different location . i dont want like 10 cop cars showing up and tow trucks and it being a problem.

Do you have any suggestions? Maybe you can set up a meet aside from this one. Cops showed up to the first one and it wasn't a big deal. I guess they don't want people just hanging out in the parking lot.

 

We have permission to be there by both the Police Department and Security Alliance who is the assigned security company to that Main Street area. This officer might have not been aware. This shouldn't be a problem next meet. It must have happened after I left at around 10:30.

As for the acorns, we could always change our meet location to the actual Ale House parking lot on the east side of NW 67 Ave. I know the North end of that parking lot is usually empty on Tuesday nights and has better lighting than our current location.
