Default more free shit - iPod

I found this on a web developer's forum and it seems to be legit. Two peeps on there really got brand new free iPods. I signed up myself just now, but it makes you do some stuff. You sign up, refer five other peeps' emails, and complete one of their offers. I signed up for an ebay account and bidded $0.01 on some car. Supposely you get your free iPod when five of your friends who you referred also signs up and complete an offer themselves.

Link: http://www.freeipods.com/default.aspx?referer=8021863

I also googled freeipod and found some proof of it really working for random people...

proof #1: http://geocities.com/ghettopia/freeipod.htm

proof #2: http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?t=149341

proof #3: http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?p=2961455

proof #4: http://www.gearlive.com/archives/2004/07/f...podscom_is.html

* Disclaimer - I'm not sure if this is a scam or its legit. It doesn't ask for credit card info and two other people from another forum got their free iPod.

That shit sucks. I signed up about a week ago. All they do is send you spam mail all day. I regret ever signing up. Don't waste your time.

I signed up and did the Ebay offer today, but after I did the Ebay thing nothing happened. It still shows (freeipods.com) that I need to sign up for one of the offers. Is this because that particular offer (Ebay) takes 3 to 5 days. Will it show as completed in 3 - 5 days? I referred like 17 people and 5 of them have already signed up, but it says they have not completed yet. Is this because they also did the Ebay offer and it will take 3 - 5 days for theirs to clear and then post as completed in my account. Thanks.

In case you were wondering... I ordered my free iPod just now.

Since I already brought a new gen iPod before I found out about this, look for a FS: New iPod thread soon...
