Moving to Florida
Hey guys I live in Alexandria, ky ( Right by cincinnati, ohio ). I've had my 2000 silverstone s2000 for about a year now. I am moving to florida come this november and I had some questions.
What do you guys think of the cape coral, fl area?
I'm looking for something fairly coastal and without outrageous house payments.
Give me some feedback on some good places to look.

You should post this over in the "regular" Florida forum. The South Florida forum generally covers the east coast area: Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. You're looking at the west coast area of FL.

Car will probably be safer on the west siiiide, but (to me) there's a lot more to do on the east.
Not sure what Ft Myers is all about (only been there a couple times at night), but can give a better opinion when I move to Naples/Estero in a month or two

Didn't mean to touch a nerve.. I will say this about the west coast; beaches are nicer, people are nicer, and crime is lower. Oh yeah, you'll get to live closer to fltsfshr, which can be a good or bad thing depending on your view of hot chicks and funny jokes...

Cape Coral is more of the quiet atmoshpere and you can get a house for cheap as hell now a days over there! But I believe income wise they pay less over there then the east coast.
East Coast is more of the lively group and party area! more expensive and crime rate is alot higher.
Depends where you live now is more of a quiet town then Cape shouldn't be much of a difference for you.
