My alarm install
well since you asked..........
Fail, you just showed everyone on this board how to defeat your alarm.
btw it wouldn't take more than a few seconds to defeat it.
you should be able to look under the dash an not know where the factory stuff end and the aftermarket stuff begins.
I give you credit for taking action against the thieves, but there is a reason that there are guys that do that for a living.
the battery and ground cables for the alarm should go directly to the battery. Is there a hood pin, shock sensor. Are the sensors set to go off only when someone actually messes with the car or are they set so sensitive that if you walk by it or a motorcycle goes by, it trips?
A for effort, D for execution, I'm sure that if you went back at it thinking like a thief you could clean up the wires and make them harder to see.
