Default Naples/Ft. Myers Dyno

Just installed a Comptech s/c and am looking for a good local place that can dyno my car and check a/f as a prelude to more work. I may end up at 2Nrwerks (waiting to hear back from them) because of all the positive posts but Tampa is really not very convenient.

It's one thing to drive 2-3 hours for a quality shop for a big install but I'm planning to do alot more work in stages and I don't know how practical being that far away is going to be. Anyone had any good experiences locally with both dyno and tuning? I'm looking for good, not cheap.

You can call Bradley or Dave at liberty one performance in naples...They recently moved to a new location and should have their new dyno up and running in a few weeks....I had my entire engine built by them (with a vortech sc). My car is there now being worked on after a recent problem. The built motor only has about 2200 miles on it and I fully expect them to stand behind their work and resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Dave is a great guy and an excellent tuner from what I have seen so far, and his partner Bradley makes communication with the shop a breeze. I will update this thread with progress of car and dealing with the shop.

Thanks guys, I've heard he has talent, but I don't get a good vibe there at all. The shop and dyno have been "almost ready" for months now.

I have left at least 6 messages on their phone since June, never talked to anyone because no one ever answers the phone. The only way I have gotten any respsonse from Dave is through PM's on NaplesRacing (his inbox has been full for days). Last time I pm'd him he said Bradley handles the calls and that he would call me that day - never did. My experience may not be the norm, and he was my first choice but short of just showing up there with my car, I'm not sure what to do.

c_me_go > Ya, I finally finished the install about a week or so ago. Took me over 2 weeks working on it after work and on weekends. Probably about 15-20 hours total but 1-2 hours at a time. It's great! After I'm sure a/f is good and everythinf is ok, I eventually want to up the boost to about 9lbs with a pulley, upgraded injectors, full EMS and tune....headers, exhaust, etc...it never really ends.. As far as numbers, I would be thrilled if I could get a reliable 330-350whp and 210-220 ft/lbs after the upgrades without sacrificing too much on the side of reliability, and good driveability.

bullet123 - I would be very interested in hearing what the results are.

Well.. He is really busy guy, I know that.. but I have talked to dave many times on the phone and even thu he is really busy he took time to talk to me on the phone until I felt like he answered all my questions.. He could of just blown me off to get me off the phone but everytime I talk to him, he takes the time to answer my questions.. Well in naples he is it for Hondas.. But if you go else where.. there are soo many other tuning shops.. But dave is good because he is also a AEM tuner, So if you are going to buy a EMS then dave is the right person to tune it.. That is where I am going for my tune as soon as he gets his dyno..

Hi Bradley

Gears are great! So's the other stuff. It looked like it was all coming together when I was up there.

How long before the new dyno arrives?

Welcome to S2ki
