im goin to try and make it over to ft.myers good chance tht i will take my shifter...but if i dont then ill take the Rx-7

I'm also planning to come watch on the 17-19th but I don't think I'm quite ready for the "National Tour". I went for my first time in January and loved it. I've heard it's the best place to autocross in the state, but really have nothing to compare it too. Everyone there seemed to be really friendly and willing to answer my questions. See you on the 11th!

Was that you with the ITS RX7 at Homestead? I saw the discussions on the forum about that. Have you raced it in club? I have an ITGT Mustang so I may have run with you before.

yea that was me at the autox with the Rx-7.....i normally run my 125 shifter kart at the autox but i wanted to see how the Rx-7 would do......i bought the IT car back in june and we have been just doing DE for now try to sort out the car abd get the cooling issues taking care of.....the car is set up really nice and is very competative.....i turn a 2.34.4 at sebring long course..just to give you and idea.....and it you run with the IT cars in club then you have probably ran with the goldin bros and even scott finlay....

2.34 at Sebring is bookin in an IT. I think my best is 2.36, and I fall off when my brakes and tires start overheating at that speed. I usually get mixed with the GT cars, so I don't know your ITS buddies well enough to know their names. I'm rebuilding my motor so I'm out for at least a month. After that, maybe I'll see you out there too.

 

Josh you run against my friend Aaron in the Prelude. I talked him into going to the national, but he can't go the 11th and 12th. I used to drive the red ES POS Miata. I didn't know you have an S.

 

yea i may do a surprise natioanl run for the 18/19 with my shifter...im still questionable as to if im goin on the 11/12 im not sure yet will see in the next few weeks how things work out...
