I was reading my monthly car mags and saw an ad for the S stating 237hp.......I know that its still the same engine or w/e but does this mean that more and more cars are going to be underrated?? Are there going to be more SRT-4's or how I like to call them 'skittles' out there??

 

have you ever considered that it might have been 'overrated' to begin w/??

on the other hand.. idunno.. its possible its a typo of some kind..

 

Theres a post about this somwhere. They have changed the way they rate HP. Still same power just rated different. It will apply to all cars.

 

237HP is the new corrected HP rating for the 06 S2000 under the new SAE system.

 

Yeah I did mean EVEN MORE overrated then they are......I guess we're going to have to get used to the new rating

I saw the 2006 SI first rated at 200hp by Honda now advertised at 197hp all over ads.

 

I thought you guys knew this. A couple of months ago they out it on the news. Still a very nice 237 HP.

 

Yeah on the spec sheets next to the cars at the car show it had -3 hp on each car too.
