Apparently these seats are hot to go into Civics and are worth a lot so thieves target S2000's

2. any s2000 around my area margate/coral springs/coconut creek??any meets?

We have a north group meet at Crabby Jacks - next one will be in about two weeks. Last couple of events have had bad weather.

3. am i the youngest s2000 owner ever? ( 19 years old)

Don't think so - I am the oldest current member on this group I think - 51

4. is an cold air intake a good idea on our cars?

Yes - but not a AEM that draws from underneath - check into hydrolock - you can take out an engine.

5.would like a ap2 front lip,and cant find one used if it hit me in the head biggrin.gif anyone have one for sAle?

Keep asking you may find one - if not talk to Paul at Pompano Honda - we get a S2k discount from him.

1 - Lots of seat theft in the area, especially in Broward. Best prevention is seat locks, good alarm, garage and be aware of where you park.

2 - Theres a weekly meet up north.

3 - No.

4 - Comptech, J's Racing, Mugen, ASM. AEM and the rest are crap.

5 - Check the For Sale forum.

Forget AEM unles they make one that pulls from up above. Study Hydrolock and remember all the puddles you have driven through. Mine came with a AEM and it was the first thing I took off. They have a valve that is supposed to stop the water - but trust a engine to a $40 valve?

K&N FIPK GII is good also - comes with heatsheild and the hosing to the throttle body in plastic and not metal so less heat absorbtion.

Obviously you never read nor saw the video/article AEM put out when they tested it on a NSX where they completely submerged the intake filter in a bucket of water to prove that the bypass valve works.
And by this im not saying that im for cold air intakes but just letting you know the facts on the $40.00 valve your knocking

Do you have a link to the video? I'd really like to check that out. If it really does work I might look into getting the AEM. The south florida rain had me looking into the K&N FIPK a lot more.
