that's funny... a silver ep hatch with hid's and some wheels was in my neighborhood the other nite. was ~1:30am and i was talking to my friend who had just recovered her stolen car (mostly intact thank god). i was half ass asleep when she called but right in the middle of the convo, i hear an exhaust outside my window... now i know my neighbors and some have exhausts but they're a couple houses down. i look outside i see the ep hatch creep up to my driveway almost slow to a stop... the car then creeps forward again to the stop sign at the end of my block, uturns and comes back and creeps to a stop again. this time i told my friend to hold and i was running downstairs to grab my old LS camshaft ready for anyone stupid. but i guess they saw me peering thru the window because they took off and i couldn't find them. i first walked around a little to see if maybe it was a neighbor's friend/visitor but nothing. jumped in my car, circled the whole neighborhood (it's small, and gated).... nothing.

for sure that probably wasn't a visitor or something normal because a) i've never seen that car before on my side, and when i drove around i didn't see the car parked anywhere in my neighborhood... that coupled with the suspicious creeping up to my house had me pissed. i didn't post it on any other forum just in case they post or lurk on other boards. all good i just wish they were stupid enough

ive been really losing sleep over this...i keep fearing i'm gonna wake up to go to work and find everything gone or vandilized!

 

Get an alarm if you don't have one... it may ease your sleep some

alarm makes you sleep better. you'll most likely find out BEFORE the stuff's all gone. my friend likes to be a lil kid and kick my tires to set off my alarm when he comes to my house. one day he was mad that i told him not to kick it because my 'rents were sleeping. he just jumped and stomped on the floor about 2ft away in jest and that shit set my alarm off. needless to say i was happy to know it's that sensitive.
