Haters, everywhere!
im quoting you because you quoted stimp. 2 bad you cant multi quote in this forum.

rant:

first of all in regards to putting an SR20DET isnt a good example, as that engine was an option for that car in Japan. the Kseries in an ek hatch, well its a honda motor going into a honda car. Yes i agree that it is impressive for an S2000 chasis to do the quarter in the 8 second range, but i mean c'mon is it really that impressive. i am pretty sure he could have done that with an AE86 chasis. is it really the fastest S2000 when it isnt even powered by the F-series motor? i think not. i am pretty sure more people would be more impressed if he did it with the f-series as it is much harder to achieve those times with our powerplant. he should have just purchased a supra and called it a day if he wanted attention. sorry but the concept was great, but it was a waste of an excellent powerplant and a great chassis. yes some people spend their money in looks, but not everyone is into making their car go faster, some people are satisfied with what the car comes with.

He was #1 on king of the streets, then he ran the batmobile a few months ago and dropped down.

I seem to remember a 34 page post of Firestryke's regarding installing an S2000 powerplant in a Miata that had over 134,000 hits.

Seems there was alot of interest in that swap.

Why would this be any different?

The Batmobile looks mean.

Props to the creativity. But I do agree that it will be more impressive if it was done with a F-series engine. Inline-pro and the S2000 from Puerto Rico are running the F-series engine and making tons of power and great drag strip numbers.

Some of the comments in this thread are why I moved mine to S2000 Talk. You'll notice that the people who have negative comments have never and would never be able to create anything like that 2JZ S2000 or anything else that doesn't just bolt together for that matter.
