Poker Run
The Ferrari Club has asked me to post this invite regarding a scheduled poker run to benefit Sun Sentinels Childrens' Fund. Should be a good time with lots of go fast cars.

Scuderia South Florida has its first Metro Rally to ring in the "dry season". The Rally will take place in the greater Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area and will encompass a Poker Fun Run on Sunday November 21st.
Poker Fun Run basically means you have 5 scheduled stops and on each stop
you will be drawing a random card from a deck of cards. When you have
completed all 5 stops the car with the best hand of cards wins a prize.
Stops will be at various locations throughout. Start will be in the Miami
area and it will gradually take us north to Pompano Beach, where the final
stop is at Hartmut and Filiz's new office building, the new HYLA USA
headquarters. A spectacular building with a designed and built Ferrari
garage for Hartmut's ride.
Our friend and chef Mario from Big Apple in Pompano Beach is catering the
event with exquisite lunch.
In the wake (no pun intended) of the various Hurricanes that hit our State
we have decided to ask for a $30.00 run fee per driver and an additional
$10.00 for each passenger to participate in this Rally. The prizes are
donated by the various businesses that participate in the event. Food is
provided as a contribution by Hartmut, Filiz and Mario. In other words the
admission to the Rally will be a cash donation to benefit Hurricane Relief
efforts of our neighbors.
An auction will also be held. Items up for bids include a gift certificate
from Johan Schwartz's Endurance Karting for a ride in the December 4
Scuderia South Florida 6-Hours of Moroso Endurance Karting Challenge,
a $350.00 value. Thanks to Johan for this generous donation!
The event will start early at 8:30 at a location to be determined and we
will start running immediately. Bring a full tank of gas to the event.
Although it is not a time trial you will need to get some basic directions.
Have a navigator on board with you. More fun especially if it is a
good-looking one =; > )
This event will be a first for the Scuderia South Florida and we hope for a
great turnout and lots of happy faces. The event is NOT a Ferrari only event
but open to all drivers and all cars. There is not a road rally. There is no
time trial and points for the fastest. We do not want to endanger those that
we share the roadways with neither do we like to see you get into accidents.
SSF events are for the fun of driving and camaraderie.
