What seems to be the problem?
No wonder some S2000s owners get this rep for trying to be something they are not, with all due respect, we drive HONDAs so please don't get smart.
I have a great time with all my friends everytime I go.
Yes, a Carrera GT showed up and thats not the only thing. Every Thursday night something like a Lotus V8, a Prosche GT2, Lamborghini Gallardo and Murciellago among other exotics show up and have a great time, not so long ago there was a TV camara crew filming a documental on street racing etc... I dont get some of you kids attitudes towards the hang outs being rice thist rice that. I do understand there is always an idiot but as long Im not the idiot doing foolish shit I don't worry and enjoy my time with friends and family. Have a good night!!!.

Sorry to interject here, but I must. I understand that you are reading Eddie's commentary (spoons) and interpeting it as a negative. In his defense, we all know that the majority of the street racing scene is japanese cars. That you can not argue. I fully understand your poitn that we enjoy the friendships we have in our club therefore we enjoy hanging out. You and I poke fun at eachother all the time. No offense is taken.

However, Eddie is a long respected member of our club, not a kid, but someone who enjoys the cars like all of us and is there to help us at Rick Case when needed.

I dont think he met anything by what he said and please think before you speak and understand the context before the content.

A Civic, S2000, and NSX are all Hondas. One is very much un-like the others.

A Focus, Crown Victoria, Freestar, and a GT are all Fords. Three are very much un-like the other.

A Jetta, Beatle, Gallardo, and Bentley Continental GT are all Volkswagens. None of them are alike.

Any dipshit that brings anything even close to a nice car out to that hangout, which is a pre-meet for street racing is ASKING for trouble. They just did a story about Miami-Dade cracking down on the hangouts on Bird Rd. Have fun getting pinched.

Not to mention the possibility of having someone follow you home to jack your seats, or worse.

 

I THINK everybody here knows what me and 03s2kay mean about the ricers,yes there is exotics there,but there also a navigator slamming his bags next to me and honking his train horn ,makes me go back to the thought of me not going to the hangout anymore thats the way i feel ,and the way alot of people feel so you gotta respect that.... YES I know i have a honda im a very down to earth person i never flaunt anything that i have so that comment you can throw out the window...... REP...? mr brutehare What rep are you refering too ?A few members such as myself think and all agree that the hang out now a days get full of all these ricer cars.I personally dont like going to hangouts down south to see ricer cars.Yes there are ricer cars every where we go but downsouth miami is FULL of them.And NO ONE is getting smart, I am for one trying to be funny and for two giving my opinion....so lets refer that getting smart comment back towards your self !!

YES we drive hondas.Whats your point.What are you trying to say.... Just cause we drive a honda doesnt mean its a ricer or that its a cheap car.Last time I checked the s2000 goes for about 34 thousand dollars.NOT a lot of people can afford that.Or maybe your defenition of a ricer is different you might wanna check on that.MY defenition of a ricer falls under the category of Ugly flashy paint jobs with ugly flashy stickers all over the car,disgusting huge body kits that are some times not even painted the same color of the car and are all sanded down,washer nozzle lights,MISMATCHING DIFFERENT COLOR washer nozzle lights , over exagerated wings that go beyond the size of a normal spoiler, hood pins that look like towel hangers etc..the list goes on.So therefore in my opinion any car that does not fall under those categories is not a ricer.If you need more help understanding it let me know I ll be more than happy to explain it so that you wont ever make the mistake of using the fact that we drive hondas as a comparison to a ricer or a cheap car.

AND FINALLY ...NO if I owned a $ 500 thousand dollar car I would not drive to those ricer hang outs what so ever ! yea I ll go to the porsche meets, ferrari meets, lambo meets etc but you wont catch me dead in a ricer hang out at all !
