I am making it my mission to find a Slip-N-Slide by the time of the pool party! They're still being made, right?! Think I might have to visit Toys-R-Us this weekend. I have a feeling it will be the hit of the pool party!

I tape several long pieces of plastic together (tape goes on bottom...duuuuh) for an extra long slip and slide. Just when I get up speed I run out of plastic on those kiddie versions

When I was a kid, smaller kid, I used to take those heavy duty outdoor garbage bags.

1) tape them together
2) find a friend or enemy either will do
3) 2 broom sticks with towel balled up and taped to the end
4) position yourselves on opposite ends of the battle strip
5) get up to a good cruising speed with broom in hand
6) launch yourself head first, and belly down
7) aim for the other guys head with broomstick (padded end first for friend opposite for enemy)
8) try to accomplish this without mom seeing you!

Although we may be a little to old for that now. But what the hell if we are young enough to even contemplate a slip and slide than I guess anything goes.

My mom would have been shouting from the window "Choke up on the grip and hit him harder! Ganthet stop being such a baby, it's only a flesh wound and besides, you've got another eye. It will heal!"

Mom was pretty liberal
