Honda VTEC Power Baby!

 

Ahem... Ariel Atom 2 dumped the i-Crap motor for Ecotec... chevy ftw.

 

^ Only in America boy. Ariel Atom comes with the Civic R engine in Europe and Asia. AHEM..

 

civic type r.... please it's just the freakin K20a that puts out 220 bhp. gay.

 

220 hp in a car that weighs jsut over 1000 lbs ain't gay, that's freaking fast.

the lotus Elise comes with a stock celica engine with much less hp and it rips weighing in at 1900 lbs

 

I've seen a few videos of this thing on Youtue and this thing just hauls ass, even with just a 220hp honda engine.

 

Obviously the power to weight ratio is amazing but the Ariel Atom 2 with the Chevy Ecotec motor is the same amount of power with a smoother ride due to balance shafts.

 

K20 is a badass motor....

 

radical is coming out with the radical sr5 with a k-20 engine too. so much potential, easy 300 hp NA.

 

They have the superchraged version of the Honda Ariel Atom that made 300hp.

Ecotec engines are inferior to the Honda engines, however you want to put them. They are better then a lot of engines out there but can't touch the Honda or Toyota engines in their class.
