S2000 CR PETITION
Here Honda learn from a real car manufacturing company. this is one of the best selling models in the world (Nissan don't need to touch it) but when you promissed your customers the best you have to be in a constant battle to get that edge over the competition. Notice that is called G37........When are we getting the S 2200? I'm so glad I'm not a Honda fan!!

Can someone fill me in on why all the hate on the car? If it performs on the track as it's intended to, what's the big deal? They're marketing is as a Club Racer. No convertible, stiffer ride setup, lighter by a few lbs, Ok so it has a Big Ricer wing, but it's supposed to be functional at least. Ok maybe they could have kicked the power up a notch. And don't take this the wrong way, but front lips, spoilers and suspension are a common mods on the S, at least from the one's I've seen on the streets. How different is this than any other sport package edition car? And with all the Honda Club and Spec racing classes out there, this edition seems tailored for that. Sure some people like to build a track car ground up, but to be able to sell something that out of the box Honda claims is 2 seconds faster on their track seems like a pretty smart business move. (maybe these guys should help Honda's F1 team this season
) I dunno, just don't get all the hate. Enlighten me you crazy Honda guys

It would be like taking a Dodge SR-T, calling it a Club Racing edition, and then stripping the car of its natural beauty, and then visiting the nearest Advance Auto Store and buying every universal accessory on the shelf, including the sheepskin car covers and fake Carbon Fiber dash with carpet inserts, and then calling that car the Club Racing edition..
Hope this helped you understand how we feel

Actually they made a SRT-4 in ACR trim, with different wheels, adjustable struts and thicker sways, but they didn't screw with the looks on the car. Although I wish they would have come up with a different spoiler.
But as for the CR, it's still claimed as a better performing track car. So it's not really "all show- no go" as a Pep Boys ricer ride would be. Besides, how many track cars look as good in relation to their street trim? And if that's still the concept version, you know they'll most likely tone the interior down a bit for the final run.
