Default seat thieves

how do they slash the top. I was looking at my car and there are the bars that go across the top from left and right. how do they cut it?? do they unlock the door and get in? isn't there an alarm system in our cars??

can someone give me some info?? i will try to build something to prevent myself...

First I disarm your alarm..then then cut your top, gently inspect your interior, and unlock your doors ..... you get the picture?? Get a hardtop, Kodokan (sp?) seat locks, and a garage. I recommend MORE than one alarm installed at opposite ends..if you know what I mean. I personally have three.....and then some

If you think thieves are not reading these posts, you're out to lunch. I have a habit of watching my back..

by the way, they cut a hole just big enough to get their arm in to unlock the door, then go at it. An alarm with a motion sensor will help, but not guarantee anything as they are fast.

only a bazooka will protect you 100%

yes..it would make the alarm go off, but they wont even try to pop the hood. It should only take them a couple of minutes to get the seats. Im not sure if anyone with an alarm has had the seats stolen.
