For those of you who like to assume and wonder where I've been, well here you go: She's back after a long full month and a half of not being able to drive her:

out of 1-10 i think the body shop did an 8 job on it

Yup, I got lucky it was just panel damage. New door, new fender and mirror.

Just curious why you would think that???


I had damage to my car fixed a couple months back and the main thing i learned is to NEVER take your car to a friends shop. They take FOREVER!!

Well I spoke to soon. I was pumping gas last night and under all the fluorescent lighting at the gas station I noticed the car was completely full of swirls and scratches from the wet sanding. After it was wet sanded it seems like they had an inexperienced guy working on it because it looks like they did one maybe two passes on it with the buffer. Some areas were still sanded down and never saw the buffer. And one area by the taillight was never wet sanded! I have a feeling I

hahaa yeah after reading the above post i definetly know what you mean! Sucks and sorry to hear about it.. I know what you're going through. I only NOW (almost 6 months later..) got it settled with the other guys insurance. I sometimes STILL do not feel like my car was done really good but oh well...
