Hi everyone,

I am planning a trip down from Canada to purchase an S2k. I know it will be sad to see one less S2K in Florida, but on the bright side I pamper my cars and it will have a good home.

I have done this before where a friend and I fly down, purchase a car, and then drive back to Canada. It is a great drive, we have a great time, and I will blog the trip on the forum. I enjoy reading others' adventures so hopefully someone will enjoy mine.

I booked the flight today and I arrive the morning of April 4th and want to have the deal mostly done or at least the field of car choices nailed down to 2 or 3 tops. It is a little early to be shopping but I am getting a feel for the value of the cars looking online to all the usual places. I am looking for a 2004 to 2006, don't want to go over 50,000 miles already on the car, and I prefer Berlina Black, New Formula Red would be second choice, and third would be the rare white/tan combo. Because I have to import the car and the Canadian restrictions, I need the car as stock as possible.

If any of you know of a good car that is for sale, see one pop up on a dealers lot, please PM me. I am on the forums each day, hopefully I can contribute back to the community, and I'll gladly buy a beer for anyone who can help me out.

Will you be registering the vehicle in Florida?

 

Yes, I will get a 30 day tag so that I can drive it around, and drive it back up the east coast.

Of course I also want to attend the Wednesday night meet on April 6th to see other's rides.
