Lets try and get this moving. So those who want a Broward meet, what areas or points of interest would work for you guys? I suggest something off 595 or 75 to make things easy to get from any direction. When I was CO up in NY, Sports bars worked well. One with a good parking lot and view of it is always best so we can stare out a window checking out our cars at the far end of the lot.

Also, early morning or real late night Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks was another way of doing things.

FYI, guys.. you don't actually "need" Ricky to set up a meet. I am sure he will agree, especially since the guy stays super busy. When I first moved down to FL, I had set up a few successful meets at Smash Burger in Pembroke Pines and never knew anyone.

Anyone can post a meet. Just some tips if you do decide to do it...
Post with enough notice. Last minute meets don't get the best turn outs.
Pick a nice safe area that won't bring unwanted attention from crooks or police hastle.
Include info like date, time, address, directions and google map links always helps.
This comment should be pinned. You do NOT have to be a CO in order to organize a meet! Shit, you don't even have to ask me. Just follow the directions above, and post away. If you want my advice or my help setting it up, let me know, but I'm rarely up north anymore and my weekends are almost always booked so I probably won't be at any meet you guys organize, at least not for a few months.

I just figured since you're the CO on here more people would want to come if you set it up since I'm "new" here and don't really know too many others with s2ks. Broward seems to work well when we would do our Prelude meets there. We would just meet at tower shops and grab food n drink lol. Everyone up for something around the end of April?

End of April is the Dragon so I might be out.

No need to worry if you are new. Invite one or two of your buddies so you are not totally alone if that makes things easier. We all started out not really knowing anyone. Start off with small meets and don't expect to have 50 cars week after week. My favorite meets back in NY used to be quick mini meets with anywhere from 5 to 15 cars of a core group at a Yogurt spot or Starbucks. They were a lot like the Wed meet. I went once and everyone was chill and we spent the whole night in the Ale house not hard parking it.

As for Towers shops. I have never been for a meet but been there for other things. Isn't parking there tight and busy?

I was setting up the last few meets and it wasn't a big deal. I'm down for a broward meet. April is far away I think there should be monthly or bi weekly meets always. I setup meets both in Orlando when I lived there and at the tower shops back in the day. I have been setting them up at Steves lately. But broward is fine just pick a place and let's do it and keep it consistent.

Its about 40 mins for me to get there from Boynton, but thats a pretty decent location for everyone. Would you guys rather have it on weekends or week nights?
