From an outsider looking in I see there are apparent problems and issues that don't seem to be at the point of being resolved. By having a vested interest in S2ki I feel the direction of South Florida is heading downhill very fast and there is a need to eliminate the problems and work with the community to bring this community back from elimination.

I have been reading all the meet threads and conversing with the Florida CO's as a whole to try and figure out where this community now fits in s2ki's original community (club) concept.

Segregation of the community has happened. That to me is very apparent. I have pm's from members of this community (good and bad) and threads in our community organizer forum to try and get an understanding of why segregation is happening.

I have been apart of s2ki from day 1. The whole concept of a community is to bring all S2000 enthusiasts together. Whether this is by meets, drinks, meals, or sunday drives, it is all about the sharing and enjoyment of the s2000. Each community operates differently, and we has site owners and admins do not tell the CO's how to do their job, we guide them. We do not put CO's in their positions, they are voted upon. The only reason one of us is here now is because this community is at the point of falling off the s2ki map.

The real challenge of s2ki after 8 years is to keep the interest alive. It get's harder everyday, because this car's used value has dropped, which allows a 7-8 year old car to be purchased at reasonable prices. These reasonable prices make it easier for younger people to acquire. S2ki as a whole is being flooded with a generation that is hard to understand, but we must continue to work and accept some changes.

The current CO's were voted on in this community by the members of this community. If you don't like your current CO's then step up to the plate and be a CO, get voted in by your fellow community members, show your true leadership, and make the community flourish. There is no unofficial CO of this community. It is easy to sit on the fence and say you can do things better. The original CO's and current CO's of this community have a better understanding of what is involved in keeping a community functioning. It is not that easy, especially with all the various age groups and the position you are in life.

This is what is going to happen, and there will be no discussions. Not everyone will be happy, but at the end of the day we need to get this community back on its feet.


1. All reference to this so called CORE group need to be removed from peoples minds, threads, and signatures. Put it to bed

2. You are a whole community. Everyone is invited to the events. No more segregation no more individual groups. If you have 5 events during the week, everyone can go to every event. These events are not hosted by a specific group. The CO's will be open to all event ideas. If you want to invite a group of guys to your garage for beers, send them a pm. If you want help washing your S, invite the community. I am sure all of you have common sense.

3. To the guests and members with less than 1 year seniority, think hard about what you want from this community what you can contribute and look at those members and leaders of this community that have 7 plus years online with s2ki and in this community. They deserve some respect. Chances are they will know how to help you.

4. Show everyone respect, no secret inside jokes, no innuendos. People get tired of the same old crap, that same old asswipes.

5. I have seen pm's from some of you who express yourselves with high intelligence. I would like to see some of this intelligence and maturity in the public community forum.

6. There will be members of this community given a time out, some will be permanently removed. Guilt by association really sucks.

7. If this drama continues, and there is no willingness to get back on track South Floridas'' community will not exist online.
