It is a partnership with Lotus (lotus providing the chassis using Elise) .. this is kinda old news tho ... =)

Give me a break... it is over 92 grand.. plus this..plus that... sorry.. but the savings on gas verses the price of the car.. no way..

What i heard (while ago) is that they have already 75% of the cars sold, the value is more for like collectors than anything for it's uniqueness ...

What i dont understand is this...

Lets say everyone magically over night converted to electric cars, Thus removing pollution of car. You would in turn cause more pollution from factories because they now have to supply more power to every household.

Its a lose lose situation imo, all the alternative fuels still make pollution to create them so whats the point.

The point is that the western civilization depends to much in Middle East Oil, when alternative sources of energy to move vehicles come popular, the prices will go down from the OPEC to the giant dollar hungry Texacos/Shells/BP's and etc etc
